The news comes as the Cabinet approved another purchase deal for 30 million doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, including an option for pediatric doses. Deliveries for these extra doses are expected to start in the first quarter of next year.

The Cabinet in its weekly meeting endorsed a proposal to purchase 30 million more doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech Comirnaty vaccine to supply the country’s inoculation campaign next year.

Government Spokesman Thanakorn Wangboonkongchana said these additional 30 million doses are scheduled for delivery from the first through the third quarters of 2022, with an option to change the product to a pediatric version for use in younger children.

I posted this last night but I think it's worth a re-post. Thailand is showing a rapid overall decrease. These are the numbers so far this month for Kalasin. I can't see a corresponding pattern.

My kid's getting her 2nd Pfizer today. In Ubon not Kalasin. More cases found from her school. As for the 34.2% being double jabbed according to the govt the rest are obviously hesitant or anti-vaxxers.

Looks like we are seeing small upticks around Thailand as far as cases. What are we seeing in actuality?, and why.  How many are un-vaccinated and how many are breakthrough cases. What variants. If they are not going to update these facts then just shut down the CCSA and open the country treating cases as they arrive at hospitals or test positive with ATK tests.

And how do we know that the 55 died from covid19 without any autopsies being done?

More COVID infections found in Bangkok after woman drops dead in alley

Health officials and a mobile COVID-19 testing unit were dispatched to Phahonyothin Soi 54/1, in Bangkok’s Sai Mai, district to test people in the community, after a 30-year-old woman collapsed and died in the middle of a lane on Tuesday. The woman tested positive for the virus at the post-mortem examination.

3 Soi's away from where the GF's daughter stays with her father.  So close to their house.  That Area has had many infections from Covid, including the GF's daughter and her fathers family.  They went through that Area testing everyone and trying to vaccinate everyone as well.

Maybe because they were in hospital fighting for life first with covid induced pneumonia? Followed by an autopsy which seems to be standard procedure.

Please show me where it is standard procedure to do a Autopsy for covid19 in Thailand or any other country.

Did you notice where I said it "seems to be" based on a forensic pathologist from Bangkok

Forensic doctor says COVID death toll may be higher than reported by CCSA

Besides you missed that most deaths have been in hospital and ventilated due to covid induced pneumonia. Bit of a giveaway that they had covid really. Time from diagnosis of covid to death in yesterdays cases was between 10 - 45 days, quite long stays in hospitals where there seems to have been plenty of time to make the correct decision on the death certificate.
