I was not expecting to like this, but found it quite enjoyable.

I don't think we'll be hearing it in the shopping malls though.

For anyone else that couldn't quite make out all the lyrics ...

On my heavy metal Christmas, my true love gave to me
12 silver crosses
11 black mascaras
10 pairs of platforms
9 tattered t-shirts
8 pentagrams
7 leather jackets
6 cans of hairspray
5 skull earrings
4 quarts of Jack
3 studded belts
2 pairs of spandex pants
And a tattoo of Ozzy

Another traditional carol, Ding Dong Merrily On High, performed by the Choir Of Guildford Cathedral.  From '68, when most here were mere tykes and probably a good majority of TV members were still stuck in the ether.

I won't post the video here, but for a changeup of the serious tone at Christmas, please take a look at Eric Idle's F*** Christmas.  Easily found on the internet / Youtube.

The original '66 You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch.  Dr. Seuss showed with a simple story that Christmas can't be stolen, or even perverted.  The spirit of what it represents is unchangeable and eternal.

The Aachen student choir of the Katholische Hochschulgemeinde e.V. sing the well-known Christmas carol "Es ist ein Ros entsprungen" ["A rose has sprung up"] by Michael Praetorius from 1599.
