I am coming off a WP in a couple of months, and want to know if I can convert to a non immigrant O marriage visa without leaving the country? Would this be more easily facilitated by an agent and if so does anyone have an approximate figure for such a service? Thanks in advance for replies.

You want a Non-O Visa (90 days) or a 1 year extension of your permission to stay based upon marriage ?

One year extension based on marriage.

You can change the reason for your current extension of stay based upon working to marriage to a Thai without a problem.

You will need 400k baht in a Thai bank for 2 mo0nths on the day you apply or proof of 40k baht income.

You will need a letter from your sating the last day you will be working for them to have your current extension canceled and on that day you would apply for the extension.based upon marriage.

I will probably have to end up using an agent due to not being able to meet the time requirement.

Which time requirement. 

If you need more time to have the 400k baht in the bank for 2 months you can apply for a 60 day extension to visit your wife and then apply for the one year extension.
