I have searched previous posts but they are very old .Any recommendation for a good electrician appreciated

I used a guy called Bird a while ago and again recently. So if that number is in the old threads you mention it is still relevant. Unfortunately I am not in Thailand at the moment and don't have his number.

 

Another option is to go to the Electrical supplies shop on Pattaya Nua - as you look at the bus station entrance its to the right. The main woman in the retail side speaks good English. They recommended 2 when I last asked of which one was Bird.
