Hi all,

I'm planning to do the Phuket Sandbox and my wife and my kids(they are Thai ,currently in Udonthani )would like to stay in the same room with me in the hotel that I will be staying. 

Any rules on that ?

That is allowed right ,after I test negative. OR.......this situation makes me awkward 

 

If you are travelling into Phuket with your Wife and Kids then I don’t think it's an issue at all. 

 

If you are travelling into Phuket alone and meeting your Wife and Kids in Phuket, I still don’t think its an issue as the only stipulation is that ‘you’ stay overnight in the SHA++ hotel - I don’t believe there is a stipulation that you have to stay alone or that your family can’t stay with you. 

 

The whole purpose of the Sandbox is that while you are low risk you can still be tracked if you test positive on your arrival or day 5/6 test.

 

 

Each hotel may have its own interpretation of the regulations so its probably best to contact them. 

 

 

I Sandboxed in Phuket in September and looked at the possibility of doing the same thing, however my Wife and I decided against it as the domestic travel requirements were getting a little convoluted.
