This is not a joke, but a true story.

My wife asked me if we could start some expensive renovations on our 15 year old home in Thailand.

I've learned never to say No to my wife, it just causes trouble.

So, I said, "Yes, sure we can start with the first step."

She said, "What's that?"

I said, "The buying of the lottery tickets."
