webfact
Picture: Daily News Khao Chaison police were called yesterday morning to the scene of a one vehicle accident on the Phatthalung to Hat Yai section of the Petchkasem Highway. They found two men dead in a Vigo pick-up that was wrapped around a tree. Daily News said the vehicle was almost unrecognisable and was in a "U" shape. Dead inside the vehicle were driver Jirawat, 31, and Thaworn, 57. Picture: Daily News It took rescue teams an hour to extricate the vehicle and the victims who were taken away for autopsy. Relatives who arrived at the scene needed medical attention after fainting. Witnesses said they heard a loud bang after midnight but due to the dark and their being a lot of undergrowth the fact of the accident was not discovered until daybreak. Picture: Daily News Relatives said the men had gone out but had not indicated where they were off to. Police said that it was caused by high speed and they probably swerved to avoid something. As long as it's not their fault , what is something ?, going too fast and loosing control is more likely senario , at least they did not injure anyone else. 2long
That truck's not the shape of a 'U', is it? But it's very broken, and very sad.... but it will happen again and again and again.... ????
ThailandRyan
RIP and condolences to their families. The impact was definitely with the vehicle on its right side thus crushing the top and the occupants as it wrapped itself around the immovable object....... ThaiFelix
Very obviously Vigo pick ups are just not built tough enough for Thai men. The family may sue Toyota.
Pdavies99
Possibly badly maintained vehicle, speed, intoxicated, road conditions etc, maybe just bad luck. Everyday the same. RIP Very sad!
pacovl46
They heard a loud bang but because it was dark and because of the undergrowth they didn’t act upon it?! The car was clearly and utterly visible from the road! As a matter of fact it was right next to the road! How about calling the cops?!
