60 DAY EXTENSION OF VISA DUE TO COVID QUESTION

I am from Hong Kong and holding STV visa. I have used 270 days and would like to apply the 60 days of extension. My visa is until 20jan. I tried to call the Thai consulate embassy in Hong Kong and china. But they said they don’t give embassy letter to prove that I can’t back to Hong Kong or issuing letter saying they don't issue those letters. The Hua Hin Immigration insist that I have to submit the embassy letter in order for me to get the 60 days extension. But I have no way to get it as no one issue that letter. Can someone share the letter from their embassy for me?

Thank you in advance

Others have sent a request for a letter to their embassy by email, and used the embassy's reply to that email as proof that they, in fact, don't issue such letters anymore.

Worth a shot if Hua Hin immigration keeps insisting on seeing something from the embassy; this is not the first report of them being difficult in this regard.
