That Rekord is a perfect project car. Swap in a 1UZ (or 1JZ turbo), Toyota 5 speed and LS400 rear axle.

It would need a bucket load of fab work, though.

Went and looked at this C10 today. The crazy (Chinese) people wanted 700k for it. When I said that was very expensive, she just shrugged and walked away.

Its in reasonable condition, it has a 350 small block. Not sure which trans. Probably a TH350.

Spotted this in Chiang Mai on my way home from work. Looked to be in mint condition but not sure what it is other than a classic.

I'd guess a kit car on perhaps a pick up chassis. Rides quite high and the bodywork just doesn't look like it's made from metal to me. Those panel shapes, gaps and no strengthening creases in a panel that large.

Followed this guy thru the back sois earlier today. Unfortunately by the time I got the camera-phone out I could only get a photo from behind but I think it is a Chevelle. In great condition and all tricked out drag racing style, you may just be able to make out the blower protruding from the hood.

Thought about running him off at the next set of lights in the PJS but thought better of it!!

Looking at the grill it looks like the later 1300. They were great cars, I had a couple maaaaaaaaany moons ago.

It may well have been. I was only looking at the paintwork really. A beautiful job and very well done.

I have seen lots of interesting cars , from the "Mercedes Wat" to a Labro on a back street mechanic off Rama 4, 69 ford Mustang , many VWs , a karmann ghia and lots of others.....
