Hi,

Can anyone tell me if there is an insurance company WITHOUT needing 

a physical for oa thailand visa for someone 68?

Are you referring to one of the Thai based companies approved for use with extension of stay on an O-A visa, or are you referring ti getting an OA visa for the first time from an Embassy or Consulate abroad?

 

If the latter (1) will you be returning to your home entry at least every year? (2) what level of insurance is your local Embassy/Consulate saying is required? and (3) have you considered the alternative of entering ion a tourist visa or visa exempts then switching to a non-O visa in country, which avoids the need for insurance?

Hi,  wishing to extend my OA,   I am here.

Note that their highest plan is still only 660k cover so not really adequate level of insurance but will meet current immigration requirements. (It is expected to increase to 3 million cover in October of this year - presumably they will offer new policies at that point).

 

Cigna Thailand is another option, as far as I know no physical required but again, check with them

4-5 million baht policies are available so might avoid the need to change when the new rules come into effect in October

 

lastly AXA makes no mention of a physical exam on their site, and also offers >3 million cover, but you'd need t ocontact them as to whether physical is required

It is always better to go through a broker when buying health insurance as a good broker will help with any claims issues later. I suggest you contact AA brokers, who are familiar with OA requirements, and explain your needs
