A man known as "K Roi Lan" - translated as "K who has millions of baht" - was up to his old tricks again yesterday at 5 pm outside Central World in downtown Bangkok.

The multi millionaire real estate businessman left his red plate (brand new) Mercedes Benz in the middle of rush hour traffic.

Then he released three cobras, spread the whole area with flowers, covered his shirtless body and the whole area in Red Fanta then took a one meter long sword to his neck and slashed his right wrists.

Lt-Col Thanawit Ketjaran on the scene with rescue services made sure he got to the nearby police hospital after the area was secured to keep out the curious.

There were plenty of those, reported Thai Rath.

Meanwhile rescue personnel managed to round up the three cobras without incident.

The man - full name Khanotpitnuthep Jakraphopmahadecha, 46, - will be charged with traffic offences, littering and having a knife in public.

It was not the first time he had attempted to perform some weird religious rite - he did the same thing on 24th April 2019.

Looking at the Benz from a distance looks A Class.

New price just under 2M baht.

I'm not sure why the Thai's are so obsessed with immaterial items, really, it's irrelevant.

Now, if it was a McLaren or Lamborghini, that would be worth noting.

And he is still free to wander around, a danger to himself and others, and even be deemed fit to operate a vehicle.

They really need to grow up and get a grip of themselves.
