PM Asks Parties to Solve House’s Lack of Quorum

BANGKOK, Feb 4 (TNA) – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha asked parties concerned to prevent the House from lacking its quorum to help pass important laws.

 

Regarding the House’s frequent lack of its quorum, Gen Prayut said that some MPs could not attend House sessions due to their quarantine. Meanwhile, members of some political parties attended House sessions but did not sign in. He said he suspected if it was a political tactic.

How odd that such an important institution doesn't have the rules and mechanics (other than the PM's personal pleas) to adequately deal with this situation - it seems like their beautifully crafted constitution has a real flaw.

 i can remove the Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha' uncertainty! it's a  political tactic and it is called the policy of the empty chair.
