Daily News Caption: Fight among three nationalities of workers at camp

Around ten people were injured after workers at a site in Bang Pla Samut Prakan south east of the Thai capital Bangkok threw spirit and beer bottles at each other, reported Daily News.

Around 20 officers of the Bang Phlee constabulary attended as 50 rioters from Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar battled it out.

It took the police 20 minutes to restore order.

One construction worker from Buriram said he was boozing with his Cambodian mates when the Myanmar guys attacked them.

His mates were not sure what it was all about.

Police are investigating.

May I ask this in the Pattaya forum , because I believe Bangkok may be different Air conditioned bars , i am observing they get less customers, do you believe I'm correct ? I had a farang recently who told me that particular bar failed as it had glass windows and was air conditioned, I was absolutely and what's the word.... gobsmacked! Does it make you consider stepping in perhaps some hesitation ? and opening the glass doors to go in , do you prefer open bars and why ? I didn't notice

This is all well known. But the proportions have not yet "sunk in". Domestic as well as international investors are still buying eagerly US treasuries. But once it is realised that a major part of the economic wellbeing/growth of the US is owed to an exponetial growth in form of dept over decades, a re-adjustement/correction of epic proportion will have to follow. Never mind "productivity gains". As said, it has not "sunk-in" in the domestic/international "investment community" yet. Many ways empires can fall. Financial "overextension" is one of them.
