Pajero driver smashes into wall on way to Bang Saen and bursts into flames - he's helped to safety

Saensuk police and Ang Sila fire services were called after a 55 year old man lost control of his Mitsubishi Pajero Sports vehicle and slammed into a wall after crossing lanes.

 

The car burst into flames but Noppaporn was helped out by a witness called Dusadee, 32, who helped save him from injury.

 

Noppaporn said he was on his way from the old market to a resort in Bang Saen where he intended to stay the night before returning to Bangkok.

 

The accident happened on the Ang Sila to Bang Saen Road at 12.30 this morning. 

 

The sign on the wall was indistinct but the Thai word for "museum" could be made out.

 

Police are studying CCTV to find out why Noppaporn might have lost control. 

 

Thai Rath made no mention of alcohol in their report neither did they mention the translation of the Spanish word "pajero".

I am so glad the  article content  dispels the image created in the title! A Pajero driver smashing into a wall is  bad enough without  bursting into flames as well !

He should have taken his car. What was he drinking that caused him to burst into flames? Why did he run into a wall? Where did he leave his car?
