Popular Post snoop1130
A view of the almost empty departure hall of Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok on August 1, 2020, as passenger numbers plummeted due to the COVID-19 coronavirus. Mladen ANTONOV / AFP Thailand’s Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) has given the greenlight to an agreement on an air “travel bubble” scheme between Thailand and India, so passenger services can resume after their suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The decision is, however, pending a cabinet approval. CCSA Spokesman Dr. Taweesin Visanuyothin said today (Friday) that Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has instructed relevant agencies to speed up the promotion of tourism and economic development in Thailand. Currently, only cargo flights and those under “travel bubble” arrangements are allowed into India. On January 19th, India extended its international commercial passenger flight ban to the end of February. Popular Post Cherrytreeview
I have no doubt that Thailand's idea of "travel bubble" will be very different to other countries interpretation of it. Just like Thailand's quarantine free entry includes the day 1 and day 5 testing bonus with the prize being an escorted trip to a chosen incarceration centre. Then it's pay up for your care and hope that your insurer covers the cost. I would remind readers that as omicron is on the increase in Thailand, day 1 to day 5 self isolation might be a good idea. What fun. Edited February 11, 2022 by Cherrytreeview Edit

Popular Post UKPaul67
So Thier travel bubble, means that India still has to stick to the quarantine rules, that's not a travel bubble. With only around 55k arrivals in 10 days and half that for test and go, they will surely be getting desperate! Today 182 tourists tested positive, that's a lucrative hotel jail for 10 to 14 days, No thanks. ???? 10 2

Thai govt even changed rule for insurance to not pay for asymptomatic or some weird rules for even symptomatic people. Its financial suicide till they relax rules for arrival.
