Daily News Thai Caption: Misfire!

Daily News reported from an incident in which Pol Capt Sahaporn Sirijantho of the Ban Dan, Buriram police was called to a violent incident last night.

Thongchai or "Bas", aged 29, had a fractured skull after being attacked with a knife. He was rushed to one hospital and then transferred to another.

His wife Wiriyaporn, 42, blamed Thana or Chai, 40, who had fled the scene. She said he ambushed them as they arrived in the estate on a motorcycle. Apparently he teased them causing an argument.

Phitthakorn, 36, the younger brother of the alleged assailant said that Bas pulled out a .38 gun and tried to fire at his brother but the bullet lodged in the chamber.

A sword was then used to attack him.

Ban Dan police are looking at CCTV and examining witness statements to try and find out who did what to whom.

"Gun fails to go off - man is then attacked with a sword"

High praise for professionalism , he had plan B..... Business Continuity Disaster Recovery(BCDR)

But some really know how to use a sword, and some are just like watching an unskilled kid. This excellent Thai actor Vithaya Pansringarm, in the film "Only God Forgives" shows how to use a sword.

No plan B, he pulled a gun and then got hacked by a sword.

Yeah, I tried to edit after reading news but wasnt able to ????

oh dear   !     there's alot of vicious fighting going on in Thailand on a daily basis.  Seems it's becoming a dangerous place to reside.

Apparently he doesn't know how to use a sword either.  Stabbing instead of using as a club would have resulted in a kill ... maybe.  Was it a sword, or just a heavy rounded tip machete ?

Responding to teasing with a gun seems perfectly rational.
