An elephant decided that enough was enough when vets turned up with their injections intending to give him some jabs.

He took off and hid under water and refused to come out to face the needle, reported TNN

Dr Lot - Patraphol Manee-orn - of the national parks veterinary service, posted about the experience saying of his adversary:

"I understand your fear of the needle but this really is the limit.

"Stop behaving like a water buffalo you big baby!"

It was noted that elephants like people have fears of being jabbed.

The elephant took off as soon as the doctors arrived knowing something was up at the mere mention of a vet's name!

I used to work at a residential care home for people with Learning Disabilities which had a labrador which I swear had LD's too. She used to go AWOL regularly and, quite the opposite to this jumbo, was very often found at her local vets sitting outside their door wagging her tail waiting to be let in...555.

Waiting for the survey to put this elephant into isolation and keep it away from any other animals!

No need, its already cowering away in fear and doing a good job of isolating itself.
