Talk about your tough old geezers, take a look at this Ukrainian pensioner who took on a Russian column. Priceless!

I like what he says about Putin at the end of the video: (spoiler alert) that Putin shouldn’t waste any more time, take his medication, go to his bunker and rot to death there. My sentiments exactly!

Something to try if you are bored one day.

While I do not claim to know the specifics of the mine in question, some explosives are completely safe to "handle" and "bang about a bit" so long as a detonator is not in place.

C4 ( at least in my military days ) could be used to boil the kettle. Perhaps the soldier in question was trying to obtain some fuel for cooking.

If one can't see from the VDO that the soldier has done the same  before; perhaps many times, one isn't looking at the VDO properly. He knew exactly what he was doing.

Ukraine war: Russia to allow inspectors at Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant - Putin

Russian leader Vladimir Putin has said UN officials will be granted permission to visit and inspect the Zaporizhzhia nuclear complex.

The Kremlin made the announcement after a call between Mr Putin and French President Emmanuel Macron.

It came after UN chief Antonio Guterres told the BBC that he is "concerned" about the situation at the plant.

He said military activity around Zaporizhzhia must end and urged Moscow to grant access to inspectors.

The mine is a TM-62 which uses TNT. In my military days, we would only use TNT as a fire-starter as it burned a bit smoky. The CE primers that came with the TNT were better for the boiling the cuppa,

Just wonder why it took so long for them to realize Vlad was/is a sic man

Russian President Vladimir Putin was so out of touch with reality when he launched the Ukraine invasion that he was incensed his troops weren’t welcomed with flowers, an exiled Russian oligarch revealed Sunday.

Nice of Putin to allow Inspectors in, it gives them time to move all the military equipment offsite. Reports are also saying Russia is for want of a better word stealing Electricity by taking the power grid supply offline and redirecting it to Russia threatening to shut off Electrical supplies to Ukraine.

but Vlad and his cronies keep saying there are only security guards at the nuclear plant... sure they will start telling the truth and we will start to believe them, because they also said many many times they were not invading Ukraine 555

Meet Aleksander Dugin, nicknamed ‘Putin’s Rasputin’, also the de facto author of Putin’s Ukrianian strategy, not to mention his hysterical rhetoric.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/2022/05/12/dugin-russia-ukraine-putin/

Dugin’s daughter was blown up last night, the car bomb was presumably meant for Dugin himself (she was driving his car). No big loss for humanity, though, by the looks of it.

Pity they missed the father intended target :

#Putin's Advisor Dugin: “Ukrainians need to be killed, killed, killed. I am telling you this as a professor.”

Agreed. The man is as evil as evil gets, and the day he dies a horrible death can not come soon enough, as far as I’m concerned.
But I also fear the damage is done, the genie is out of the bottle now, the craziness has spread to a lot of heads in Russia, including Putin’s, so Dugin’s death probably won’t matter all that much.

He was a war apologist. Now he knows what It's like to have his child killed!

Not just an apologist, but a propagator and initiator: he thought up the whole ‘theory’ of why Russia has the right to invade and occupy Ukraine, and why Ukraine doesn’t have the right to exist as a country and why all Ukrainians should be killed. If you want to talk about really nasty pieces of work, Dugin is among the nastiest. And that’s saying something, when you look at the all-out craziness that seems to have spread throughout the Russian powers that be.

Ukraine answer Russia for their unsupported accusations, although the adviser to Zelensky should/could have added some more details about Russia's terrorist activities, such as poisoning their own citizens (Navalny, Yulia and Sergei Skripal) , shooting down commercial airplane, killing their own citizens in Chechenya, killing/shooting Boris Nemtsov, prominent Russian opposition figure, shot dead in Red Square, blowing up residential areas in Aleppo/Syria, blowing up residential buildings in Ukraine and so much more, that's what a terrorist country does and should be listed as such

“We are not a criminal state, unlike Russia, and definitely not a terrorist state.”

Actually, on the corruption perceptions index, Russia was rated 29 and Ukraine at 32. The lower the number the more corrupt the country is rated to be.

In fact over the last 5 years Russia has been consistently rated to be more corrupt than Ukraine.
