Glad I'm not Ukrainian. At 67 I think I'd be next in line for mobilization. Slavs v. Slavs. Brutal. NATO, you don't even want to go there. It won"t be pretty, that's for sure, no matter who wins. Lots of mothers, sisters, weeping.

Glad I'm not russian,at any age fighting for the ego of just one little man.

Not enough food or winter gear and send to die in a country where you are hated by everyone and your own government does not really care

if you live or die.

I am getting sick and tired of some people who repeat at nauseam the same old propaganda and mis information.

 

The Ukrainian soldiers on the other hand (many will die also) have the full support of their government and their own people.

For every meter of land they take back from the invaders they are thanked and celibrated by the people they liberate and are offered warm

food and clothing.

The Ukrainians know where they are doing it all for,the Russian freeze to death in trenches and wonder what the hell they are doing there.

Ah, that's nice nausea, we're the same age. Did you enjoy life in the UK in the 70s? It was a lot of fun, student grants, subsidized beer at Bath Uni in 73/4, was it 12 or 20 pence a pint, I forget? Jobs a plenty. National Health? No problem, see a doc the same day you're sick.

I was listening to a Ukrainian woman talking about fighting Russia. She said the idea of losing her home, her family was too much to bear. Better to lose her life than everything she held dear.

So fight to the death it is

Blasts were also heard in the cities of Kharkiv, Odesa, Lviv and Zhytomyr.

The regional leader of the southern province of Odesa, Maksym Marchenko, spoke of a "massive missile attack on Ukraine".

No one doubts the bravery or the desire of Ukrainian soldiers to defeat the Russians, but IMO the outcome depends on whether the GOP will continue to give a blank cheque to supporting them. Next year will tell us about that.
