Infighting between Russian mass murderer Igor Girkin who was one of the 3 found guilty of the Lockerbie plane strike and his threats to Vladimir Solovyov, one of Putin's chief propagandists on state TV:

Convicted mass murderer Igor Girkin has threatened one of the Kremlin’s top propagandists, Vladimir Solovyov, in a video shared on social media on Dec. 23.

Girkin, a Russian secret service agent who served as one of the main handlers for the Donetsk puppet authority, said that he wouldn’t allow Solovyov to flee Russia if the war was lost for the Russian side, the threat came following Solovyov mocking of Girkin for his alleged failures when Girkin was sent to the frontlines in Ukraine,  Solovyov said he "<deleted> off" and then fled back to Russia.

In turn, Girkin, who was recently convicted of mass murder for the deaths of the passengers on flight MH17, promised to make efforts to prevent the Russian propagandist from fleeing to Israel after the fall of the Kremlin regime.

"If our generals continue to fight like they did the last ten months, we have all chances to lose this war,” Girkin said.

Thirteen-year-old Nika Selivanova made a heart shape with both her hands, waving goodbye to her best friend Inna who was pressed up against the glass partition that divided the entrance hall of Kherson's train station from the waiting area.

Moments earlier, they'd hugged, tears welling up in their eyes. Inna had kissed Asia, a tan dachshund dog wrapped up in a warm blanket, carried by Nika in her arms.

An air raid alert has been issued across Ukraine, as a fresh wave of Russian missiles targets major cities.

Presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak said more than 120 missiles had been launched at the population and civilian infrastructure.

At least three people - including a 14-year-old girl - were taken to hospital after explosions hit the capital Kyiv, Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said.

Blasts were also heard in the cities of Kharkiv, Odesa, Lviv and Zhytomyr.

The regional leader of the southern province of Odesa, Maksym Marchenko, spoke of a "massive missile attack on Ukraine".

Ah, that's nice nausea, we're the same age. Did you enjoy life in the UK in the 70s? It was a lot of fun, student grants, subsidized beer at Bath Uni in 73/4, was it 12 or 20 pence a pint, I forget? Jobs a plenty. National Health? No problem, see a doc the same day you're sick.

But I digress..

I was listening to a Ukrainian woman talking about fighting Russia. She said the idea of losing her home, her family was too much to bear. Better to lose her life than everything she held dear.

So fight to the death it is

No one doubts the bravery or the desire of Ukrainian soldiers to defeat the Russians, but IMO the outcome depends on whether the GOP will continue to give a blank cheque to supporting them. Next year will tell us about that.
