RT -PCR test in Thailand

Is this type of test available in Thailand and what is the cost? I need it for entry to Vietnam and it must be the type of test that has is RT not just plain old PCR test for some reason obscure to us Vietnam government requires this.

All PCR tests for Covid-19 are actually RT-PCR.

This is because PCR tests test for DNA - Covid-19 does not contain DNA, its RNA. The Testing process has to Reverse Transcribe the RNA so that it can be tested by the PCR technique. 

 

What the authorities in Vietnam want is a certificate which specifically states RT-PCR test because they are ‘authoritarian box tickers’

 

Regardless the certificate you get from MedConsult (recommended above) does state RT-PCR test, I have used them numerous times already.
