roger101 Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 I am currently Banking with Nationwide and use my UK address, but as I am spending much more time here I was thinking of notifying the bank of my Thai address instead. Would that cause me any problems.
Popular Post Pmbkk Posted February 28, 2022 Popular Post Posted February 28, 2022 There has been many reports of people having issues with their banks when informing them of staying out of the country more time than in. This maybe bank specific. If possible, my advice would be not to rock the boat and tell them nothing. 3

nong38 Posted April 6, 2022 Posted April 6, 2022 Nationwide are one of the few UK banks who will allow you have an address abroad, they have also sent me a card so I see no problems with them so far. What a lot of people dont realize is that when you open an account with a bank in the UK you are a UK resident and you have a UK address, should that position with the address change you need to think carefully before you make a change, it will be difficult to change back. Metrobank refused to send me a new card abroad, they seem to have been taken over and not at all helpful. 1 1
