Lost RAM and ROM in mobile update

Featured Replies

OK chaps bought new four year old model Oppo phone...at a good price....phone specs on first receiving was 4gb RAM 64 ROM....it was running version 25 of the operating system and when I checked on the WWW 35 is the latest version....could not update through the phones update system itself so I downloaded and updated through Oppo,s website itself...all went fine phone working OK but when I checked the phone specs afterwards it now is showing 3gb RAM 32 ROM....can anyone explain please why such a big change?

Thanks for any help ????

Where did you buy it? Lazada? Probably copy and after you upload the real specs are showing. Also a 4 year old oppo. Not sure they had 4 gb 64 gb at that time, but can be wrong.

I put my IMIE number into a checking website and it came up as OK....copy or no copy I,m not sure but it`s working fine so I,ll suck it and see ????

It was the Chinese version as against the Global version. Be careful of Chinese phones being sold a lot cheaper than usual.

WHY? To save a couple of thousand baht. You get what you pay for, or don't pay for.

Yes, the Chinese are known for faking the specs.
