40.72 million subscribers to the three packages have spent money wired into their bank accounts by the Finance Ministry.

Doesn't sound right; 29 billion baht - i.e. 29,000,000,000 - divided with 40 million - i.e. 40,000,000 equals (29,000/40) 725 baht each...????

... I heard yesterday Austria for example states 33.4 billion EUR combined covid costs and counting.

Maybe expenditures would be the better term, talking healthcare as well as economical help for corps & individuals here ... the 33 bille were for 2020 + 21.
