Thailand’s daily COVID-19 death toll reaches new 2022 high on Monday

Thailand’s daily COVID-19 death toll reached another high for this year today (Monday) of 65.

 

Daily fatalities from COVID-19 have been on the rise this month, from 43 cases on March 1st to 65 today.

 

According to the COVID-19 Information Centre, 45,398 new cases, detected by rapid antigen and RT-PCR tests, were reported during the past 24 hours.

Below is a graph posted in an ABC article today showing excess deaths in Australia in recent years and shows 2017 had significantly more deaths that was attributed to the flu than the 22,000 covid deaths over the past 2 years.I must be missing something because I don't remember there being much of a hoo haa made about the deaths from the flu that year or any lockdowns or vaccine mandates.I wonder if Thailand might have a similar story?

No I don't reamber that either. but have gone and had my flu shoot. now 3 covid and flu now looking to come back to the LOS.
