New campaign for French citizens

Featured Replies

Hello,

French embassy tells us there is this month and april a third campaign ( after Janssen and Moderna, it's now Pfizer )

good, but I wonder if it's very necessary now , with Omicron ... I know several people who will not do it

I still hesitate : what do you think ? useful or not, too late or not, efficient or not ? thanks

The booster is a very good idea but it depends on you and your overall health.  If you are fully vaccinated, in reasonably good health and catch Omicron, you will get sick and it will be an inconvenience, but statistically you will most like recover in a matter of a week or so.

If you get boosted, then you reduce the chances of getting infected at all, but not by much and you shorten the period of illness and the severity.

Personally, I'd recommend it and it appears that your home country does as well.

Does the French embassy give you a recommendation as to how soon after the Moderna vaccination you should get the Pfizer booster?
