Popular Post snoop1130
BANGKOK, March 15 (TNA) – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said whether the House should be dissolved or not would depend on his decision and he would base it on situations. He was responding to Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwon’s earlier remark on the same day that the House can be dissolved after the government hosts the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum late this year. Gen Prayut said Gen Prawit already informed him of the remark and told him that it was a personal assessment. Gen Prayut confirmed his planned meeting with representatives of coalition parties on March 17. He said that it would be their normal meeting and have nothing to do with any alleged conflict. Popular Post ThailandRyan
Of course the PM is the only one who can dissolve parliament, which would in fact dissolve his cabinet and a new election would be needed with a caretaker government including a caretaking PM put in place before hand. Of course this PM would never allow any of that to happen, he still has the remainder of his 20 year roadmap to complete before he leaves office. Hello President Chan O Cha regent for life. 9

Popular Post smedly
the west right now are intoducing rules that seem to target only Russian theives and their laundering, why do these rules so far only apply to Russians ? We have plenty of scope with other countries and their leaders including Thailand who farm their ill gotten gains all over the world ................ apply the rules to them all and where did this money come from that you used to buy millions worth of properties and buy up assets (launder) in the west, prove where the money came from or we will confiscate it .....................pipe dream but seriously, it is not just Russians that are stealing from their people and buying stuff outside their home countries ............................. How does a cop or general in Thailand end up with huge sums of money and is able to buy up millions in assets in the west ........................... the rules must apply to all 17

Commies are commies but at least these little boys are not threatening to blow up the world like that deranged inhuman thug. They’re not in the same league... Popular Post spidermike007
Why would the comrade dissolve parliament, when in his mind he believes he is PM for life? And this is the same guy who said it would be a short lived caretaker government, only until things calmed down. Oh, the taste of power, glory, and massive fortune. But a successful VNC requires a simple majority vote of the House MP's. But Prayut's pro-military coalition has repeatedly voted against no confidence. The PM can unilaterally dissolve Parliament. But a simple majority of House MP's in a vote of no confidence can also dissolve Parliament. But given that Prayut's pro-military coalition has repeatedly votes successfully against a VNC, it would be up to Prayut to dissolve the House otherwise.
