No talk of flights out or this is your last one nonsense ect ect - A very easy & pleasant experience..

Usually is at Krabi.

I spend less than an hour every year in total on 90 day reports and retirement extension. You just have to be polite. I have seen seen them deliberately keep rude and impatient tourists waiting for long periods and I don't blame them.

I was refused a CE in Krabi last week. Not much of a surprise as I entered on a STV. Nicest and most polite refusal I have had, even apologised for not giving me the stamp. Got it fixed in Chiang Mai so everyone happy????

From what I read, you state that on March 18 you got a Covid visa exemption greater than 60 days. I will believe when I see a pic of your visa stamp.  You would be the first person to get an extension greater than 60 days

He obtained a 60 day covid extension.

That 60 days starts for expiry of his current extension.

Some immigration offices were dating the first CE from day of application.

This is not his first..

His extension dates from April 8 and that takes him to approx June 9..

I stated March 17th actually (St Patrick's Day).

You should take more care to read a bit more slooooooowly.

Its not called a Covid Visa Exemption either & there is no Visa stamp too but if it helps you sleep better at night, i am more than happy to show you my Permission of stay untill stamp.

Ps: Thankyou Dr Jack

Excellent report. Not.

Keep up the informative posts.

"Got mine at CNX"

Go what? A covid extension as per the thread.

You do realize CNX is an airport?

Just for the record my 2nd CE in Chiang Mai last week was dated from application, same as the first. I have a flight booked out well before then so did not bother asking any questions

Indeed.

Some immigration offices make up their own rules.

As should be the case.

Good to see some immigration offices playing by the rules instead of making up their own.
