EMIRATES AIRLINES COVID INSURANCE

Featured Replies

Emirates airlines currently includes COVID insurance in their ticket price. Is this cover accepted for the Thailand Pass application or must it be a Thai issued policy?

Yes.  BUT. I ended up getting stomach sick and had a hard time with the claim, it was under AIG Canada. I had to complain to the BBB and then suddenly then claim was processed in a week!

You need to contact AIG with your ticket number and they will issue the insurance document. The info is on emirates web site.

AIG has responded to the BBB complaint now that the claim has been resolved. But the did not address the surreal run around i was given.

Read the reviews of Global Excel the company that manages the claims! Add the DOT.

I wasn't aware that the insurance is still included last I heard stopped DEC 21. However if it is still active then mine (booked before Dec 21 was accepted for my Thai Pass BUT you have to get a certificate in your name from the insurance company in my case AIG - this was the email I used to cask for the policy - [email protected]
