Two police officers killed by roadside bomb in Yala

Two police officers were killed and two others injured by a roadside bomb in Bannang Sata district of the southern border province of Yala this morning (Wednesday).

 

The four officers were travelling in a pickup truck along the road in Bacho sub-district, to serve a subpoena on a witness in a traffic violation case, when it was struck by a powerful roadside explosion.

 

The force of the blast blew the truck off the road. Two officers, died at the scene, while the two others sustained injuries.

If sharia law is what the people want, isn't that what they should get?

Let the Malay muslims govern themselves instead of holding on to the idea that Bangkok controls every corner of the country. But as Bangkok won't allow any autonomy, this conflict will continue indefinitely. There's a new juwae (fighter) born every minute in the south. No military force can ever stomp that out.

That would be 2 separate legal systems in one country.  One barbaric and one corrupt.  It's sure to work.  ????
