Shush.. it's called global cooling, but don't tell Greta, she might get suicidal...

Have cooling here, have to have heating somewhere else. Check out heat patterns in Australia over the last few years.

Anthropogenic anything climate is a theory not a fact, whether it's A. global cooling, warming, or 'disruption'   Facts are things like solar minimums, magnetic reversals, and Milankovitch cycles.  tying everything weather to CO2 is not fact.

Quote me the 4 Laws of Thermodynamics without resorting to Google. They are facts as well, and no-one has succeeded in trashing them. They are the key drivers of anthropogenic climate change. There are others, it is not just CO2 alone.

I suppose you would say gravity is a theory too. That works very well until you step off the balcony of the fourteenth floor of a condo, and become strawberry jam in a few seconds after gravity takes over.

Let"s see what TAT is coming up with tomorrow.

The billionaires who booked their stay will now cancel their luxurious holidays because of the weather.

What else would they come for?

Bars: closed

Rest: closed

Weather: cold

Ladies: re-allocated to farming.

it's 26°C here in Pathumwan and I've got the condo windows open to enjoy the cool breeze. feels a little bit like a Sydney Sunday arvo and now I'm homesick for the nanny state ????????

Reminds me of arriving in Thailand mid-March, 1977.  Hot!  Then later in April spending time studying in Maha Sarakham.  Brutally hot and dry.  Then I ended up in Loei ... cold in the winter.  I had to leave a washtub of water covered by an old bus window out in the sun to heat water warm enough to bathe in the afternoon.  Fortunately my bathroom was outside under the house so I didn't have to carry the tub too far.

Claiming humans impact climate change when there have always been human activity for the last hundreds & even 2-3 thousand years of human civilization-where humans engage in large scale cultivation and water management-is too vague to be considered 'fact'.  The current interglacial period is about the same as the previous interglacial period, the 'eemian' except the previous one was warmer but shorter.  As far as the last 100-150 years where CO2 levels increased from about 300 to over 400ppm.  The 'climate' is still the same as it was as in the 1800's in all regions of the world despite exaggerations made by politically and financially motivated politicians.  For example it's April now and still cold, with lows in the single digits in places like NE USA, northern europe, etc. and it was like that last year and the year before that and the year before that, and it was like that in the 1800s.  It never or almost never 'gets hot' in those regions in spring, March, April, and even May and the other regions also have the same ol climate.  The real climate change between now and the 1800's is practically undetectable despite and explosion of human population, animal population (due to humans), and agricultural cultivation during the 20th century with greatly increased emissions from burning fossil fuels.

btw a big part of AGW 'greenhouse effect' theory is that there is supposed to be this 'tropical hotspot' in places like here.  So actually it shouldn't even be cool here in December & January anymore because of all the runaway greenhouse effect.  One of the more recent IPCC reports admitted that the 'tropical hotspot' phenomenon never happened, 'yet'  "the reason for this remains elusive" i believe was the wording.

You have zero understanding of the facts of climate science, which are based on observation.

Fact 1. Carbon dioxide levels have been increasing steadily since the Industrial Revolution.

Fact 2. Sea temperature is rising, coral bleaching is increasing worldwide.

Fact 3. The Larsen Ice Shelf is melting at unprecedented rates.

Fact 4. The Vatnajokull Ice Cap has lost 400 sq km of its surface area.

Fact 5. About 13,000 sq km of the Amazon rain forest was deforested in 2020-2021.

Fact 6. Natural gas is just as polluting as coal. When it comes out of the ground, it contains up to 30% carbon dioxide.

Fact 7. The intensity of storms worldwide is increasing, a demonstration of the First Law of Thermodynamics.

I won't bother going into what albedo and clathrates mean to climate science, you just don't want to understand. Classic climate change denier, goodbye.

good bye because you know most of that stuff gets ravaged by 'denier' scientists:

The surface mass of the ice sheets on both greenland and Antarctica increases every year, greenlands ice sheet adds about 10" of ice a year.. thats what happens when temps are way below zero almost the entire year except for maybe a month in the southern part of it.  This ice is then constantly calving into the ocean as the glaciers rollinto the water.. that's where all those 'ice losses' they talk about comes from ????

coral bleeching & ocean acidification is a bunch of bu7sht:

I don't mind ignorant people, not many people have the benefit of a tertiary education in science. Even fewer have any training in thermodynamics, it is too hard a subject for most.

It's when people are willfully ignorant, and feed their confirmation biases on social media with equally ignorant falsehoods, denying facts by calling them BS, that I conclude it is a waste of time talking to them.

..and nothing in the news about it.. nothing to see here  ????

There were weather warnings a few days ago about a couple of days cold spell due to some wind from somewhere.   Do you really expect news reports simply because the temperature was down a few degrees?   As you said, nothing to see here.

Not only cold. I'm in Issan now and it has been raining uninterruptedly for more than 24 hours ....

I'm 50km south of Khon Kaen.
Same with the rain and where max temps had been 36C they went down to 18C,
The wind is also cold.

When it happens in April, yes.. if it were Nov-Feb then no.. and 35 to 21 is a little more than a few

The entire NASA website is for children, because most of the data they use is make-believe.

The way to deal with conspiracy nuts it to one-up them:

"The moon landing was faked".
"Oh, so you're one of those guys who believes in the  moon".

What your saying is the way to deal with 'conspiracy nuts' is to use logical fallacies, which is what you just did.  The moon landing and temperature charts that n fact includes modeled data from all over the world and 1930's temperature data that was sharply adjusted down have nothing to do with each other.  BTW at this time, early April in the 1930's it was already above 80 & even 90*F in northern US states:

past 5 or even 10 years it's been just above freezing in early April.  Ski resorts are now opening earlier and closing later all over the world.  Also, although the cool weather here is gone, its still not that hot out there, especially in the mornings, it's still a cool breeze.

its been very hot here in Surat Thani on many days, we just stay inside with he air con running, 5 minutes outside and your clothes are drenched in sweat. The biggest problem we are having is all the rain, generally this time of the year with the dry we can do work on our trees but with all the rain its been impossible, we have even had a few days where we have seen water levels get way too high and flooding has occured throughout the district, hopefully the wet season will not have much more  major flooding.

The real science in the determination of climate change factors looks at sea temperatures and currents which generate weather over the land masses. While the surface temperature of antarctic ice may be cooler the incremental warming of ocean water is undermining it .

5 or 10 years isn't a cherry, that's the climate, and there's no warming in the larger time-frame than that either:

Have you alerted these people to your discoveries?

What are the international initiative for the prevention of climate change?

ICAP includes members from the European Union Emission Trading Scheme, Western Climate Initiative, Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, Australia, New Zealand, Norway, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. Established in 1988, the IPCC is the premier international scientific body for climate change reporting.

Yep.

However, according to the slow kids in the red caps and their cult leader, AGW is nothing but a "Chinese hoax."

There is no 'prevention of climate change' .  This stuff is about taxing, raising prices, and big government funding for 'green technologies' like battery powered cars and also funding alot of bogus 'climate research' such as massive supercomputers that 'model' the climate.  It's called the climate industrial complex and it's worth trillions; And it was also just after 1988 when the Big Gov $$ started going into this agenda.

You also have to consider that the 'line' or 'talking point' you get from the IPCC, NOAA, NASA.Goddard ICAP, whatever isn't just that there's 'global warming' as there was clearly global warming prior to the industrial revolution; It's that there is this 'extreme' amount of global warming-like because CO2 levels have exceeded 400ppm it's going to turn this planet back into what it was during dinosaur times (when the CO2 was 4000ppm).  After 150+ years of industrial revolution and 'runaway greenhouse effect' that is clearly not happening, but by now this thing is too big to fail.  Can you imagine if one day the big  globalist government just said "whoops sorry, the runaway greenhouse effect isn't happening so we're zeroing out the whole climate thing"  It would be tantamount to the US Defense Department deciding to cut nearly it's entire budget because actually they're not defending the US, they're defending their various enterprises around the world-and they're just not going to do that anymore, those other countries can defend themselves.

False. Less storms last 50 years.
