Mae Sai border crossing reopened?

Before covid closure I used to do my visa runs there.

We used to send our wives over for the cheap booze. How I miss my Jack Daniel's Tennessee Fire.

It is not open at this time.

No crossing to Myanmar is open.

There was talk of Myanmar reopening borders earlier this week but hasn't happened. And even if it did happen, the Thai government would need to approve the crossing for test and go.

Do you know what crossings are open to the east or elsewhere? I'm based in Chiang Mai.

The only crossing to Laos that is open is Nong Khai to Vientiane. Unless it has changed you had to join a tour group to enter Laos.
