I went out shopping in the morning for just some milk and things and didnt go to my usual 7/11 . 

My usual 7/11 arent concerned about Setang coins , it just gets rounded up or down and neither side makes an issue out of it . 

I went to a non but similar 7/11 shop and I took my goods to the counter and it came to 60 Baht and 25 Satang .

I gave the cashier 60 Baht  and She looked at me . 

I looked at her and she looked at me . 

I looked around the shop a bit , looked back at her and she was still looking at me .

"Errrrr, What" I asked her 

"50 Setang" She said and held her hand out  . 

Oh, the other 50 Setang .

I looked around in my pocket and found 1 Baht coin which I gave to her , 

She processed the transaction and gave me a receipt .

I then looked at her.......................and she looked at me .

"Errr What" her facial expression said . 

I held out my hand and said "50 Setang"

She had to call the manger over to open the till .

If they are so concerned about 50 Satang, then so am I 

 

I've had that where they decide to keep the satang, i get it off them and put it in the box

There's an echo in here. This exact same story was on here not long ago.

The 50-satang "scam" has been done to death over many years. Someone's always coming along to "rediscover" it.

Are you now saying the exact same thing happened first at Tesco and now at 7-11? And it was, by coincidence, the exact same price of 65 Baht and 25 Satang? And that you and the cashier both behaved in basically the exact same way in both incidents? The only difference is that in the 7-11 story you changed from owing her 25 Satang to 50 Satang by mistake. And, worst of all, you misspelled "Setang" in both of your posts! You have some explaining to do boy!

I thought that I posted it over on the other site and I thought that I'd post it here as well .

I seem to have gotten this site and the other site mixed up .

I looked on the other site for it and couldn't find it as I was going to straight C%P it , which isn't surprising .
