No ‘land-entry’ fee to be collected on international tourists yet, Thai Prime Minister says

Hearing that the money has to also be used for other things, is not surprise.

This is Thailand after all, and do not forget that brown envelope that needs a small

percentage of each 300 baht. That is always one of the other things to consider.

  Be happy for the delay.

an expected 20 million tourists to visit Thailand in the fourth quarter of 2022.

So does that mean that 80 millions a year will be the new standard ???

Maybe he said 20 million total for this year?  Tens of thousands arriving daily now?

So odd thinking.   If your numbers are lower than you want,  you would postpone a new 300 bath entry fee.

Or did it occur to them that adding a new fee at this time was really such a  stupid looking idea?  Did they get pushback from airlines?

Would people not go to Thailand just because they would have to pay 300 bahts?
