Downtown Saigon gets outdoor screens for SEA Games football

Five giant LED screens have been installed in the Nguyen Hue pedestrian square in downtown HCMC for football fans to watch Vietnam's matches in the Southeast Asian Games.

 

Vietnam will play four games in the group stage against Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Timor Leste at 7 p.m. on May 6, 8, 13 and 15.

 

If Vietnam can make it to the semifinal and final rounds, the screens would remain, Vo Trong Nam, deputy director of the city Department of Culture and Sports, said.
