Daily News Thai Caption: Angry over pictures

Phayathai police made a quick arrest after yet another shocking double murder in Bangkok.

Arrested after fleeing to Sam Khok district of Pathum Thani north of the Thai capital was former airman conscript Morakot Prapharoj, 24.

He has been charged with the premiditated murder of Korakot Meunprap, 25, and his girlfriend Fah, 24, the airman's former lover, reported Daily News.

It happened at a house in the Sa Kaeo community in the Phayathai police jurisdiction.

Morakot said he was angry after his ex's new lover sent him provocative pictures of them together and dared him to do something about it.

This he did in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Korakot's mother Khreauwan, 46, said she had risen early for work and was doing the dishes when a man she now knows to be Morakot arrived at the house with another man and said: "Is Art (his nickname) home?"

Surprised that he knew who she was and thinking he was a friend of her son she said to go on upstairs.

Morakot opened the door to the couple's bedroom and used an 11 mm gun to shoot the couple dead.

The mother said she heard gunshots but the gunman had already fled the scene.

Jealousy and revenge are strong emotions ... and too easy to act upon when you have a gun.

RIP young couple. What a shocking story.

You don't do this in any culture.

Of course going round and killing both of them is also a cultural faux pas.

Hardly shocking as nearly daily event with these worthless, violent and murderous Thai man-infant jackwagons. Loathsome, horrible, awful, disgusting, detestable...yes. Shocking...nah.

You could be suggesting posting your pictures of you and your new lover on facebook could be seen as provocative to an ex and lead to mass world murder in that case

He wasn't suggesting that and  no one has suggested that

My point was that many ex's forget to delete their old partners or block them or whatever on FB, etc. Simply posting a new picture of a new boo to a Thai male with a hot head - and a gun - could therefore be said to be provocative - and highly dangerous -  it would not need to be a message sent direct to the ex as the pictures are on the WWW

Lets stick to this story .

The deceased deliberately sent a photo of himself with his new GF , who was the ex GF of the killer and asked him "what is he going to do about it" and he responding by killing them both .

   That was deliberate provocation
