A British man who was attacked in a gym in Thailand says his face was "butchered", leaving him fighting to save his eye so he can return home. Surprised the BBC picked this up but this is good as Thai Police will be even more pressured to impose harsh penalties on the attacker who apparently has retained a lawyer and only offered 100k out of what will be an estimated 800k procedure. It's very understandable,you obviously have zilch medical knowledge,and the issues surrounding criminal charges regarding this unprovoked and cowardly attack,as the guy has stated,he cannot fly,due to possibly rupturing his eye due to cabin pressure etc. Secondly,he needs to have his boots on the ground in Pattaya,to make sure the mongrel that done it is charged with attempted murder,imprisoned,then deported,there is no excuse,nor defence for doing sh*t like that. Your average Pom/Yank/Aussie wouldn't do something unprovoked like this.
