More than 100,000 people rushed to register to grow cannabis and hemp plants, through the Thai Food and Drug Administration’s (TFDA) website https://plookganja.fda.moph.go.th, and the “plookganja” application this morning (Thursday), as the removal of the two plants from the Category 5 narcotics list becomes effective. The stampede overwhelmed the capacity of the original site.

 

An alternative portal, https://plookganjaweb.fda.moph.go.th/, has now been set up.

 

TFDA Secretary-General Paisarn Dunkum said that the app was downloaded more than 50,000 times today, adding that they will try to certify the registration applications electronically.

I suspect this could be ''sticking your head above the parapet'' , this government is famous for flip flopping. If it reverses its decision it will know where to look.

Gullibility to the forefront again. Has anybody actually said how much you can get for a non THC cannabis plant, I suspect that owning six of them is not going to make anyone rich. As an aside has any body else been blessed with the rumour that 100 baht notes ending in 8 are lucky and keep one in the handbag. funny one in every ten notes must end in an 8 but not many around.
