Hi       looking to get a non 0 visit thai wife over 50

 

fbi ck has poss of contrld substance back in 1989  ....    think its a problem ?  4 park tickets last year

oh and was their a visa that required 9k usd in bank  ...  read it here but cant find it now

Won't be a problem.

Did you consider enter visa exempt and obtain 60 extension to visit wife.

No police check required..

I don't think there is any FBI check for Non-O visa application outside Thailand ( I assume in the USA). Non-O extension requires 400K BHT in the bank.

You do not need a police clearance to apply for a non-o visa. That is only needed for a Non-OA visa for retirement.

   i was told this time that i could not get another tv ....... does that include v.exempt ?    i am here in thailand now  and planning a longer visit  400k maybe (over 50)

If you entered on visa exempt or tourist visa you can obtain a non O based on marriage.

That grants a 90 day stay and depending on how long you wish to stay you could obtain a 12 month extension or obtain the 60 to visit wife.

How long do you wish to stay in Thailand 

You cannot obtain a visa exempt or tourist visa while in Thailand.

You would need to exit and return.
