I'm thinking of visiting UT for a few days. Anyone on this branch have any ideas where to meet up with a few farrangs at a restaurant or bar for a chat?

Well seeing that your username is 'Up2you' then I would suggest that you head to the UP2U bar which is located opposite the main shopping complex. Look for the big blue logo and follow the signs. They have good food there and is a popular place to for local farangs to hang out. You will also find a few more farang bars around this area. I think Steve's bar is the best place for good valure food (100bt for pie 'n' chips and gravy) it's one of the most popular farang meeting places. You will find Steves on Prajak road around the corner from the main shopping center.

Udon has a helpful farang website Udon Map it has a good map and forum with everything listed.
