Extend visa on arrival

Featured Replies

Hi All,

For the previous 10 yrs I have had a visa based on renewal of extension for retirement but after covid I am just returning for 57 days.I got Visa on arrival and I will extend after 29 or 30 days.

My questions primarily to Joe or Dr Jack are

Do I just need the usual copies of Passport pages,Tm6 and filled out Tm7 plus 1900 baht?

Can I just show my lease agreement as I am still in the same property and have not been anywhere else since I arrived so I think I do not need a TM30 or do I?

Do I still go to the usual address in Chang Wattana or do I go to Laksi Mall? Are they near each other and does Laksi mall have photocopying facilities like Chang Wattana.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

You are entering on visa exempt.

You will need a TM30 to apply for your 30 day extension along with the photocopies you mentioned. Your hotel can provide you with copy of TM30. Screenshot is fine.

You will apply for extension at Laski IT Square. 3rd floor.

There is photocopy joint available next door..

IT square imm office is just opposite the Laski train station red line about 3 km from CW.

Have a read of the threads advising to have onward flight out of Thailand since you are entering visa exempt.

An onward flight may be required by the airline.

Options outlined in the many threads on this.
