Can you also buy topical antibiotic without prescription?

Featured Replies

Dear all,

Can you also buy topical antibiotic without prescription?

Is there government-owned pharmacy in Thailand, especially in Bangkok?

Thanks

Yes of course you can buy OTC  topical antibiotic in any pharmacy, just as you can in just about every country.

There are pharmacies in the government hospitals, but why bother, there are plenty on the high streets.

You can buy Neosporin on Lazada; it's better than the standard Thai adaptation, IMHO.

You van buy topical antibiotics anywhere and most are dirt cheap, hardly worth seeking out the few  government owned pharmacies.

Specifically what antibiotic are you looking for?

topical mupirocin

Most antibiotics in Thailand are OTC. My favs are amoxicillin (sore throat, itching) and azithromycin (food poisoning, diarrhea).

Watch out throwing random antibiotics at your STD. They did this in Pattaya, and have now created SUPER GONORRHEA! ????
