Keep dreamin' Joe (while trying not to trip on those White House extension cords) and keep your chin up...39% of your own party still want you to run in '24 ????????????????????????  (https://www.nytimes.com/2022/07/11/us/politics/biden-approval-polling-2024.html?smid=url-share)

In what way is it bigoted? I would rather say "accurate". If Pete were straight, he would still be an ambitious nobody.  At his age, he might be toiling his way up the ranks of the state government.  Not saying he isn't a sharp young guy, but his defining characteristic definitely isn't his intellect or his experience.

I'll let you have the last (insulting, intolerant) word.

He graduated Harvard magna cum laude, won a Rhodes scholarship and graduated Oxford with first class honours.

It is ridiculous to claim his intellect is not his defining characteristic.

Sure. Keep telling yourself that.

I don’t need to keep telling myself anything.

Pete Buttigeig’s excellent academic achievements are a matter of public record, his intellect clearly displayed when he speaks.

And that’s a thing, we can very reasonably come to judgement of others on the basis of what they say.

Like I said before, no doubt the Secretary is a sharp guy.  And I agree we can judge others on the basis of what they say. Like the current occupant of the White House, for example...

Here’s the take away:

More women than men register to vote.

More women than men vote.

Now who’s rights are being curtailed and who is it doing the curtailing?

Nice shift from your original premise there.... Joe doesn't even know not to read the actual "prompts" on a teleprompter.  He is really mailing it in at this point.   Mrs. Biden isn't much better, she couldn't even pronounce "bodega" at a Latino meeting in Texas.

It’s a nice switch back from your trolling ripped videos to the topic of this thread, GOP making mid term case for Biden.

Keep stamping on women’s rights, they are the majority of voters.

Really? According to Gallup, only 38% of women are in favour of abortion being completely unrestricted.  Most agree that some limits are needed, generally setting the limit at 15 weeks or thereabouts.  More critically, women see inflation and gas prices and the economy in general as more important issues.

There is no "stamping on women's rights" happening at all. Unless you think most European countries also "stamp on women's rights"...

Yes there most certainly is.

Stop gaslighting.

Just about anything and everything a conservative (or any non-liberal) says/posts in this forum is mostly deemed hateful, rude, and yes, even gaslighting, if you have any opinion counter to some....you will gets those type of responses.

No!

Each case is different.

We all know for a fact that is not true.

This isn't a matter of opinion.

Its a matter of FACT.

Since when is quoting polling data "gaslighting"?

Here is more "gaslighting". The GOP is up by 8 points on the generic Congressional ballot. Doomsday for the Democrats.

No.

Not this slithering game.

Polls aren't reality.

You know that.

Roe vs Wade was struck down.

You know that.

That's wrong. We're not morons. Of course it's happening. FACT.

U.S. Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade, ends constitutional right to abortion

WASHINGTON, June 24 (Reuters) - The U.S. Supreme Court on Friday overturned the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling that recognized women's constitutional right to abortion, a decision condemned by President Joe Biden that will dramatically change life for millions of women in America and exacerbate growing tensions in a deeply polarized country.

The court, in a 6-3 ruling powered by its conservative majority, upheld a Republican-backed Mississippi law that bans abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy. The vote was 5-4 to overturn Roe, with conservative Chief Justice John Roberts writing separately to say he would have upheld the Mississippi law without taking the additional step of erasing the Roe precedent altogether.

It's not an opinion. Its gaslighting. To say women's rights have not been trampled when its a fully verifiable fact that they have that everyone can see.

So your earlier statement "Of course hard core homophobes would never vote for him but they are mostly Republicans anyway."....that's not gaslighting, it's just your opinion.  As Dr. Evil would say "Right".

That's right. Trump and the GOP are anti-gay. So anti gay in fact that they appointed the first ever openly gay cabinet member in US history!

And as you know, overturning Roe did not end abortion in the US. It is still possible to get an abortion from sea to sea.  It just gave the power back to the people. You ARE for democracy, aren't you?

Yes the Republicans are anti gay!

Abortion is already banned in many states.

Why do you insist on doubling down on insipid gaslighting?
