I agree, not everyone saw the clear evidence of Johnson not being fit for office, not everyone predicted he’d be ousted.

I was hoping for another Oliver Cromwell. ????

Not quiet, he’s a member of the ruling class, he’s allowed to be ‘eccentric’.

If he were working class he’s be an unkempt, lying little scrote.

Also, if my Auntie had a pair of nuts , She would have been my Uncle

Don't forget to switch off the lights on your way out Boris.

it's gunna be a bit like Australia and the revolving door of PM's

The problem is two fold .....

Young folks don't understand history and don't care ...  they do knee jerk reactions as what happened in Auss.

And a term of 3 years is too short to get any government stability ... imo

heard from some friends over there in the UK, have nothing to confirm their comments besides hearsay, the current feeling to re join/going back to the EU is around 70+ percent,

There are no opinion polls showing that high a number, as far as I'm aware.

I did post a link to a poll showing 53% in favour of re-joining, however.

I did say....  hearsay as they didn't had anything to back it up but it appears numbers are going up

That will not happen in the lifetime of this parliament nor most likely the next three.  Whilst most political parties have stated they are not in favour of re-joining the SNP of course are. But what is conveniently ignored by them is that should they wish to re-join it will be on the conditions of entry as they stand now, not the conditions as the UK had previously enjoyed. Now giving up the pound for the Euro ? well they are still fighting tooth and nail to use miles and miles per hour so I wouldn't hold out much hope of the nation agreeing to that.

Excellent news.

One more rightwing talking point shot down.

Well perhaps.

It does however seem, well, remarkable, that two essentially similar matters resulted in such different responses.

Still, the Blessed Keir can at least procede with his declared plan of calling a vote of no confidence in the government now, can't he?

That will allow the electorate to decide...

That isn't correct .

Miles and MPH have always been used interchangeably with kilometres  .

Recently the laws forcing people to use metric were dropped , but no one wants to go back to Imperial and thus metric is still used .

Well yes, they can have a beer and get away with it, use four letter words in the house, and get away with it, they even have Dianne Abbott talking nonsense in the House and elsewhere and gets away with it.

But thankfully, at the polling stations Labour will not get away with it, just look and listen to their benches....????
