She we displaying the contempt this Government has for the public it is supposed to serve.

Hand picked by a man who needs to be told ‘Leave means Leave’.

Are you seriously suggesting that she hates the general public and walks around being abusive for no reason at all ?

She walks around randomly making rude hand gestures to people because she has contempt for them  ?

BTW , have you ever made a rude hand gesture to anyone ?

  • Hat's off to the scientists who invented the vaccine.   Roll-out was quite well managed. But let's not forget Johnson's cavalier attitude towards Covid before his own brush with death.

The UK is divided as the people who live there no longer seem to be able to accept the result of democratic votes that do not go their way.   The Scots do not accept the result of the independence ref

  • Thanks for the hard work Boris. Great job on Brexit and the vaccine rollout.    Whose next? For me it has to Truss, Mogg or Raab. I'd like to see The Moggster get it. A true Conservative.

The pledge was to build 40 new hospitals by 2030 .

3.7 Billion Pounds has already been spent on this pledge .

How about doing a bit of research before posting misinformation ?

How many hospitals have been built?

Yes leave means leave. It took over 3 years after the Brexit vote before we left.

Settle in. Read his speech again. He won’t be going anywhere soon.????

That was true .

The E.U had rules regarding the shape of bananas , one E.U rule was that bananas need to  'free from malformation or abnormal curvature of the fingers'.

It was not true at all.  Johnson claimed bananas had to be straight - read the entire conformity rules, don't just post part of them. If bananas had to be straight, there'd be none in the shops. Check out what 'abnormal curvature' actually means. I'll give you a clue - bananas are naturally curved - i.e. 'normal'. Just another load of Johnson BS.

Just like when he stood in front of the camera's and said the EU had caused great expense to UK fishermen by demanding a new style of packaging for kippers. The next day it was revealed that the new packaging was actually a UK rule.

The man doesn't even know what day is it,  never mind how to run a country.

Its not about avoiding the truth , you can write things in your own words  , but if I want to read and reply to a Guardian journalist , I can go and reply to them on the Guardian website .

I used to spend my days reading the Guardian , but feel free to write things in your own words , or we could just keep sending links to each other ?

The facts within the article are accurate. They expose yet another broken pledge made by johnson.

Maybe, like some of us, he tends to avoid the Autotràder Political Supplement.

As with all political commentary, print or broadcast, truth is subjective.

The article was reporting the facts of yet another broken johnson pledge.

She’s a newly appointed Government Minister, forgive me if I have higher expectations of behaviour of those holding high public office.

24. Which is quite an impressive number. However, there is a big BUT here.

The Department of Health decided to redefine 'new' in August 2021 to include hospitals which didn't previously exist plus new wings plus 'major' refurbishments (which is undefined).

My definition of 'new' (and yours?) is limited to hospitals which didn't previously exist. In this case, the answer is 3 are currently planned.

I seem to recall you saying something similar right up to the middle of last week.

Could be that Conservatives elect a new Prime minister and the U.K electorate may favour a future Conservative Government at the next elections (with a new leader) ?

It's a possibility but I'd suggest that it's unlikely if the Tories cannot put on a united front for the electorate, and it's difficult to see which prospective leader can pull this off.

I doubt that Braverman has any realistic chance of winning, but while she appeals to the ERG, she would alienate the moderate wing. Sunak/ Javid/ Hunt have the opposite problem. Wallace might have been given a chance, but he's had the good sense to rule himself out.

Despite the purge of pro-EU MPs in 2019, the Tory PP is still at war with itself. I just hope that this continues until the next general election.

He has eight years left to complete the task

Go ahead, do post a link to where he said bananas had to be straight

I suspect he’s got to the middle of next week.

How long do you think it takes to build a hospital?

Just another broken pledge on the way? I hope so, if only so it would get them all outraged again.

I think you may get your wish as I don't think he intends going anywhere. I suspect his resignation is simply a ruse to buy time.

I do go on a few different websites and on every website I log on, there seems to be one poster endlessly calling Boris a liar , the internet these days is rather repetitive .

Cue : Another opportunity to call Boris a liar

It's incessant on these pages, mixed with some purely abusive posts devoid of any actual comment. It appears to be perfectly acceptable to assert that Boris is the arch liar, while the others are in fact all the same. Most of what they rage about as Boris's lies were no biggie.

Personally, I would not trust Starmer as far as I could throw him, and the same goes for the rest of the Labour cadre. They seem to have conveniently forgotten the even bigger corrupt lying Labour PM, Princess Tony Blair. The anagram of his surname was so apt, but would get your post deleted for some reason.

No they aren't all the same. That makes you the liar.

PS. Your man was found guilty. Starmer was not. Accept the result and move on.

Oh, and the Tories voted 164 - 2 in favour of the Iraq war despite the protests on the streets. What did the protesters know that the CONs didn't?

All the same, all snouts in the same trough. Believe me!

Durham police deciding not to fine Starmer does not preclude him from being a liar, or having broken the law. Has he got your support because he's better at it than others? Remember, he's a lawyer by trade and now an MP, so a trained professional liar.

The protesters obviously knew from the beginning about Tony's lies. Maybe the CONs didn't get the word on the street and believed Tony's sexed up report?

The defence of Johnson's conduct as PM now seems to consist of nothing more than criticizing a Labour PM who has been out of office for 14 years

Megalomaniac pedo for sure, obviously working on becoming pedo dictator.  Americans can thank their lucky stars that presidents need to be native born, oh wait, is the Supreme Court is looking into it?  Republicans are ok with pedos as long as they are fellow Republicans.

Sounds like the work of Rupert Inc., very Fox News-ish.  According to them Obama and Hillary are toiling away to tear the US apart.

Just accept the result and move on. Why can't you people do that?
