Health check

Featured Replies

Any RECENT experiences of a general health check up in Chiang Mai and cost and hospital?

Thanks

I had a very comprehensive check up 3 months ago at Ram's check up centre (in the recently built facility just south of the main hospital). Smooth, speedy service. The cost was 8,951B, which struck me as good value.

Also had a rather comprehensive health check up at RAM Hospital this past October, all except one procedure being at the Health Center.  Cost for me was 7,012 baht (like above poster, rather good value in my opinion given how thorough they do things).

Excellent service, comprehensive health check (blood panel, Urine, EKG, X-Ray, Abdominal Ultrasound,) at Rajavej Hospital.  In at 8:30, finished with tests by 9:30,  back at 11:00 for a hands-on exam by physician and explanation and discussion of test rests. 4,900 Baht.

Looking for the beast value or a cheap test seems dumb.  How important is it to know about your full health status? Any full check up needs to include an EST  (exercise stress test) which with all the other tests, will run approx. 15,000 b and up.  It is

currently 19,500 b including EST at Bangkok Hospital CM.
