Trump Booed at Arizona Rally Over His New Endorsement

So it' just a misunderstanding. They just got inflamed by his other statements and did not notice this particular statement including "peacefully" ...

Wait! Why didn't he quickly told them that they misunderstood him, instead of watching the assault on TV for 3 hours? ????

We are actually off topic but the CNN link lists Trump tweeting asking for peaceful behaviour again at 2:38 and 3:13 before he asks the rioters to go home in the vdo at 4:17. So to say that he did nothing is at least misleading.

I'd like to say "nice try" but your deflection doesn't even rise to that level. So, I'm afraid I'm going to have to award you a "sad fail". I wonder if there's an emoji for that?

  • Meanwhile liberal outlets ignore the whole country laughing at 'President' Biden ????

  • Media still obsessed with Trump after all this time, now racking up the anti Trump hysteria just because he might run again. That is the real deflection from the abysmal failure in the White House now

There was a point in all that?

Sure.  The point you keep trying to divert away from.  The point that Trump could have stopped the attack on the Capitol with a single tweet but chose not to do so.  Thank you for allowing me to make it again.

Bill Clinton was a centreist I think. Sort of.

Hard to gauge unless you know them.

They say one thing do another.

Biden talks left yet his family lines their pockets.

Most big time socialists only apply socialism to others.

Come on! By international standards, the Democratic party is far from being socialist. In other western countries, it would be considered as being center, or even right of center. As concerns its "leftist" policies, such as those about health and social security, they have been implemented by right-wing parties and people, starting with Bismarck in the 19th century.

And Trump's defenders divert away from it rather than address it every time.  Thanks for helping me make the point.

It has been stated over and over again that Trump tweeted asking his supporters to remain  peaceful (during the disturbance) and he also made a video asking for non violence .

You just ignore that and keep making the same false allegations over and over again and people lose the will to keep replying stating the truth and reality

Be careful, they updated it to include some of Hutchinson's testimony.

In neither of those tweets does Trump ask his supporters to leave the Capitol.  In the 4:17 video Trump praises the rioters but tells them to go home, and he again promotes the stolen election lie.  Not the clear and decisive direction that was needed.  His "stand back and stand by" direction to the Proud Boys was clearer than those tame tweets and video.

The Capitol was breached around 2 p.m.  Pence was evacuated at 2:26 and the House went into recess due to the breach at 2:30.

Nothing to address unless you are obsessed with the topic after years of trying to pin something on him. Meanwhile the media continue to divert away from the disastrous present non President, his joke VP and very dodgy son.

Trump didn't even acknowledge his supporters were in the Capitol until more than two hours after the attack began, and he didn't ask them to leave until after it was clear they would not prevent the election certification.

Irony alert.

You tried to deflect by claIming the media is deflecting.

Don’t fret, the DoJ is not being deflected.

Here's two things I can pin on him:

Trump did not call off the rioters in the Capitol until after it was clear they would not succeed in preventing the certification of the election.

Trump will not concede he lost the election, in spite of having no evidence of election fraud on a scale anywhere near large enough to change the outcome.  Democracy can not work unless losing candidates accept election results.

There is no pleasing you, is there?

If Trump would acknowledge that the election was fair and the results legitimate and he would stop undermining democracy it would please me tremendously.

I don't think that's going to happen.  Do you?

Like Hillary you mean? how many years did she go on about it and crying she won the popular vote. Trump was cheated by the anti media assault on him and lies by the Democrats for 4 years.

Then you would know the difference between capitalism and socialism.

Yet another new question? If it means pleasing you I would say he certainly won't formally concede.

I thought you not a Trump's fan yet you defend his election denial lies. You can't be taken seriously. Maybe a troll playing both sides.

What does it tell? That Clinton was not left-wing (I.e. compared to Sanders)? It only tells what they (Christian monitoring Science, gulp) consider as "left-wing".

Let's be practical. Which current Dem policies do you consider as being "Socialist"? I can already bet they have been implemented in other Western countries by right-wing or centrist parties.

Tell me.

That claim was reviewed and debunked. Likely to be 65% Republicans didn’t trust the election. Trump’s own AG and Home Security said election not rigged. Courts said the same.

Read the link

Which issues do they address in the link?

- death penalty. Being against death penalty is not being socialist

- same sex marriage: allowed in plenty of western countries governed by right-wing parties,

- public health insurance: Implemented in plenty of countries governed by right-wing parties. First time by Bismarck who surely wasn't socialist. The most extreme version, the British NHS, has been promoted by right-wing Brexiters as a reason for leaving the EU,

Liberal is not the same as socialist (by international standards).
