THAI sees losses narrow as tourism picks up

Thai Airways International Plc (THAI), the country’s embattled national carrier, has come out to report a net loss of 3.2 billion Baht for its operations during the 2nd quarter of this year, a decrease of 113.8% from the same period last year as load factor picked up.

Former park chief indicted for murder over enforced disappearance of Karen activist

The Office of the Attorney-General (OAG) has decided to indict former Kaeng Krachan National Park chief Chaiwat Limlikhitaksorn for pre-meditated murder over the disappearance and presumed death of indigenous Karen activist Porlajee Rakchongcharoen, aka “Billy”, about eight years ago.

Mountain B fire families want CSD police to take over investigation

Thirteen representatives of the injured and dead from the Mountain B pub fire in Thailand’s Chon Buri lodged a complaint with the Crime Suppression Division (CSD) police today (Monday), in an effort to get them to take over the investigation from the local police, saying that they do not trust local officials.

Pattaya Provincial Court issues arrest warrant for father of ‘Mountain B’ nightclub “owner”
