Hi I am asking on behalf of my brother if proof of a hotel booking is required by immigration when he arrives in Thailand visa exempt for a 30 day holiday later this year.Thanks.

Thanks for confirming Joe that's what I thought.He plans to have a return ticket and his vaccination record to present.

Agent?  Are you talking a booking office or immigration at port of entry?  When was that?  Believe there may have been such requirements during Covid when only a few were even allowed entry (but may have it mixed up with other countries as was not travelling).
