Guest of honor among several invited guests to help with transparency was Food and Drug Administration secretary general Dr Phaisan Dankhum. The drugs were destroyed in processes at the Akkhie Prakan company in Bang Poo, Samut Prakan. Among the drugs were 21,270 kilos of Ya Ba (meth mixed with caffeine), 9,396 kilos of "Ice" (crystal meth), 561 kilos of heroin, 89 kilos of ecstasy and 278 kilos of opium.
