Nakhon Ratchasima - known by many as Korat - is now being hailed as a center for art.

This after an exhibition of sculptures started about ten days ago, reported INN.

The sculptures, some of cartoon characters, some promoting Thai cultural themes and the like are on display at the Nong Rawiang Education Centre of Rajamangala University of Technology Isan.

They are all made from a product that might routinely be discarded, rice straw.
